Hands on learning approach

This workshop takes a different approach to learning than most other learning tools. We could just go from one feature to the next and show you how to use each one - but that’s boring and definitely not the best way to learn.

Instead we base the workshop on a real world example. Then we'll show you how to use Impress to solve the problem.

You'll not only see how to use a certain feature of OpenOffice.org, you'll see how features work together, and you may see new ways to work more efficiently and creatively.

This is a better approach because there’s much more to learning a new program than just knowing how to use its features.
