Often you'll want to precisely align the objects on a slide. The easy way to do this is to use the align functions.

First, select all of the objects you want to align. Then right click one of the objects and select alignment... from the menu.

OpenOffice.org Impress offers several alignment options. You could align the objects vertically or horizontally.

Choose the center option to horizontally align the objects based on the object centers and our objects are all perfectly aligned.
